Stock investment related media

Today I will talk about some of the stock investment-related media that I personally find useful.

Morning Satellite /モーニングサテライト(TV Tokyo)

This is a commercial broadcasting TV program that I watch during the weekdays while eating breakfast.

The program begins with breaking news on the stock market in New York, then focuses on information that may affect stock prices, such as exchange trends and corporate performance.

There is a special feature for each day of the week, and I personally like the hour that introduces excellent Japanese companies with high technological capabilities on Tuesday.

Today's stock Tomorrow's stock /今日の株式 明日の株式

This is a radio program where two elderly persons calmly look back on the Japanese stock market after the end of Japanese stock trading.

It’s available to download as a podcast too. It mainly conveys IR information such as financial results of each company, economic statistics, etc., and it seems that many housewife investors listen to it while preparing dinner.

KABUSHIKI Friday /株式フライデー(ラジオ NIKKEI)

Every Friday, a radio show that gives a week-long stock market review and future economic forecasts, this program is also available as a podcast.

Personality Kei Asakura has basically a lot of bullish remarks and is treated a bit eccentric because he says what other analysts don't (or shouldn’t) say, but I believe his analysis is logical and convincing.

He has also published several books, but most of them have a one-star rating.

However, he claims that many of the people rating his book have clearly not actually read it.

* All of the above three programs are available only in Japanese.

I believe that information on stock investments, including info on this blog, tends to be biased, so I think it is better not always to get information from the same source but various places in order to better train your judgment.
