Denka handles a wide array of chemical products such as a heat-dissipating material, fluorescent materials, functional film, adhesive, cement for infrastructure development, fertilizer for soil preparation for agriculture, functional resin for automobiles or home appliances or building materials or foods, in addition to influenza vaccines, test reagents, and more.

Denka is a long-established company with a history spanning more than a century, while recently, getting much attention in the press, due to it starting to produce organic compounds that are the raw material of "Avigan" aiming for approval as a Covid-19 infection treatment drug.

Their policy is to prioritize dividends while maintaining a sound financial balance.

On the other hand, they plan to invest 90 billion yen in R&D expenses and 60 billion yen in mergers and acquisitions over the next five years.
